Tommy's US Open Blog

Welcome to 4U Management’s New Blog Site! We hope this will be a place you visit frequently.

This first blog comes to you from La Jolla, California. I am here for the 108th United States Open Golf Championship. The United States Golf Association is conducting the 2008 US Open on the beautiful south course at Torrey Pines, which overlooks the dramatic coastline of San Diego, California.

4U has two clients, Lee Janzen and Ben Crane, participating in this year’s US Open. Lee is a two-time winner of the US Open, while Ben enters this week’s event ranked 41st on the PGA TOUR money list and 41st in the regular season FedEx Cup points race. His earnings for 2008 thus far are $1,153,709. Ben also is 5th in scoring and 7th in all-around ranking on the PGA TOUR for 2008.

Lee tees off Thursday at 8:17am on hole #1. Ben’s tee-time on Thursday is at 8:50am on hole #10. They both have afternoon tee times on Friday.

Dr. Dick Coop, another client of 4U Management, is also here at the US Open. Dr. Coop is one of the top sports psychologists in the world. He is working with several PGA TOUR golfers this week at the US Open. Other Major Champions Dr. Coop has worked with include Nike Faldo (3 Masters, 3 British Opens), Larry Mize (Masters), Payne Stewart (2 US Opens, PGA Championship), Mark O’Meara (Masters, British Open) and Corey Pavin (US Open).

The south course at Torrey Pines promises to be an extreme challenge for the world’s top players. It is the longest course in US Open history - 7,643 yards.

I’ll be here for the duration of the tournament, so check back for more news from this week’s US Open.

Tommy Limbaugh,
President
